Allison began her career in the year 2000 at a little school in Westboro called Sutton. Passionate about the environment, she opened Salon My Place in 2012 to create a space built on ecologically sustainable products, a warm place to work and to offer exceptional service in hair care. With a commitment to creating a calm & relaxing experience, Allison specializes in balayage, coppers, blondes, babylights, colour, grey blending, pixies, curly cuts, and flowy natural hair. Born and raised in India, Lava has followed a remarkable path in pursuit of her passion for the hair industry. She aspires to specialize in curly hair, encouraging individuals to embrace and celebrate their natural texture. Lava graduated from Algonquin college in 2023 and is excited to provide exceptional, personalized services to her clients at Salon My Place. A true artist, when not at the salon, she can be found dancing and exploring new creative avenues in all forms.
